Whats in my MakeUp Bag

Image
WHATS IN MY MAKEUP BAG? So, like every girl on this planet, I think we all leave the house without a stitch of makeup and when we finally reach our destination at work, do we do our make up in a rush. The key I learnt over the years of working is to not over pack my makeup bag. But to carry along the most essential of essentials. You will notice I’m into affordable makeup products from the drugstore. So, let me take you through my Makeup bag, I hope you enjoy my post. Foundation I often reach for my Garnier BB Cream for days I want a subtle no makeup - makeup look, but for those days I want to add that extra effort to my look I’ll use my Loreal Infallible Pro Matte Foundation, it adds that extra coverage without that horrible cakey look that some foundations leave you with at times. Powder My favourite powder in my makeup bag is the Yardley loose powder. Not a lot of people rave about it. But I guess its different strokes for different folks. Its pretty effortless. Als...

Pureology Strength Cure

Image
Pureology to the rescue So recently I purchased this shampoo and conditioner, (Powerful duo in my opinion). I REALLY LOVE IT!!! My new favourite for this month by far. For the past couple of months, I have been struggling with my hair in a sense that the shampoo and conditioner I had been using has been weighing my hair down and making it way too greasy too quickly. It made me super frustrated, after recently treating my hair and colouring, I needed to make a quick change so my stylist recommended this duo to me... Packaging: They’re in a sturdy and turquoise bottle. The Print on the bottle is informative for the customer purchasing it, which is always nice when you considering a brand-new product you know nothing of, that’s one thing I do appreciate. Texture: Pleasant fragrance, shampoo lathered up quickly for a sulphate free shampoo, Rinsed out nicely. The conditioner smelt amazing, didn’t feel greasy at all. How to: apply quarter sized amount to wet h...

You really need the Moroccanoil Treatment in your life

Image
REVIEW : Moroccanoil I just can’t get enough of this product, it literally is like magic in a bottle, but in this case a small bottle. At the salon where I work, I'd usually get my hair done by them. And every single time the lady would end off the blow dry using this Moroccanoil original treatment oil on my hair, and my hair would feel so smooth. I decided to go ahead and purchase the mini size, just to see how my hair would cope, if I do it m own blow dry, because it would’ve been pointless to spend so much money on something and the results never remained the same. A little bit of history of how this product came into existence: Moroccanoil Co-Founder Carmen Tal, went for her routine colour service which took a turn for the worst. Carmen Tal then later stumbled upon a salon which she then experienced a Moroccanoil Treatment whilst on holiday. She absolutely loved it and then decided to take it full stream. Moroccanoil is another name for Argan oil w...

REVIEW: L'oreal Skin perfection correcting day moisturiser and The New Loreal Pure Clay Glow Mask

Image
REVIEW L’ Oréal Skin Perfection Correcting day moisturiser and the New L’ Oréa l Pure Clay Glow Scrub Never did I think I’d move away from my Neutrogena moisturiser, but I just couldn’t help myself in trying this loreal skin perfection correcting day moisturiser. I’ve heard and seen so many positive reviews I had to just check it out for myself. So here I go. (laughs) The product line is about 1 -2 years old and offers a day and night cream, correction cream and a serum. It’s difficult trying to find a skincare line focused on 20-30 year olds, as everything is focused on anti-aging or acne skins. Packaging: I absolutely love the luxury you feel with this product. It looks really fancy for something that’s not expensive at all. The pink as a pop of colour, drew my attention right away. Feeling the weight of the container was little bit heavy due to it being glass which I had no problem with at all. It also contains about 50ml of product with a removable i...

Review: Neutrogena Hydroboost Water Gel Moisturizer

Image
Neutrogena Hydro Boost About a month and a half ago I’ve been experiencing some changes in my skin. It’s been extra dehydrated and flaky. The moisturiser at the time was just not doing it for me anymore. Till I decided to try something other than a creamy texture and something gel- like for more hydration that would absorb a lot easily and not make me look dehydrated and flaky. My skin started to feel smooth to the touch without it being left overly saturated with product. It’s amazing I love this product, did I mention the price wasn’t bad at all right up my alley for a beginner blogger so be kind please.   Fun Fact: The Epidermis is the outer most part of the skin, which provides a barrier to infection from the exterior factors such as the environment pathogens. The epidermis also helps to regulate the amount of water released from the body into the atmosphere and also helps to regulate water loss. So, I then went to store and discovered the Neutrog...
